InkMark (“the App”) is developed by Diego Varela. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our application.

The short version: We don’t collect, store, or share any of your personal data.

What We Don’t Collect

• We do not collect personal information
• We do not track your usage
• We do not use analytics
• We do not serve advertisements
• We do not share any data with third parties

Data That Stays on Your Device

All your documents and data remain exclusively on your device or in your personal iCloud account:

• Documents: Stored locally in ~/Library/Application Support/InkMark/ or synced to your personal iCloud account
• Settings: Stored locally using macOS/iOS UserDefaults
• Voice Recordings: Processed on-device using Apple’s Speech Recognition framework and immediately discarded after transcription

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions, all processed locally:

Permission	Purpose
Microphone	Record voice notes for transcription (on-device only)
Speech Recognition	Convert voice recordings to text using Apple’s on-device speech recognition
Files Access	Import and export documents you explicitly select
iCloud	Optional sync between your devices using your personal iCloud account

Third-Party Services

Apple Services

If you enable iCloud sync, your documents are stored in your personal iCloud account, subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Speech recognition uses Apple’s on-device processing when available. No audio data is sent to external servers.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App is a general-purpose text editor with no features targeted at children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated revision date.
